I created this piece by starting with the creature design, then making a thumbnail sketch for the composition. There is some photo textures here and there, but it is still a work in progress. I want to add more details to the buildings and the surface streets to make this seem more like a Manhattan street scene. The people running are a photo stand in, but amazingly have a great prescience about them. I will need to adjust the lights and shadows more.

Oh wow, absolutely lovely! The people look very realistic. It contrasts with the slightly more cartoonish monster rather cutely. This really has an 'Aw crap' moment about it XD

I'd have to say, I would hate to see this out my back window XD
