Wow; these are very well done drawings, even at their concept/develpment stage. I particularly like the top-right one's shape, and the detailing on the one of the bottom right; also the semi-develpted one between them (like the first but with no legs... if you understand what I mean) and the developed one to the left.
I definately think you're onto something with the scythe-like arms; the claws seem just a little too standard. Keep it up!
